HISTORY:

Prelude:
In her breathing days, she was a member of the Milwaukee Arcanum. She
discovered the existence of both Garou (she's actually Fianna Kin) and
Kindred by accidentally observing a Garou-Gangrel battle in the suburbs.
The Gangrel "wife" of the city's prince found her amusing (she knew
Mockingbird socially) and had her embraced by Milo [a poor dupe] because
she could not do it herself, for political reasons. After fighting the
Garou aside the Anubi [Gangrel militia] (she did so to find out more about
the Garou, not out of hatred towards werewolves), she fled to Lake City
when she discovered the real reason that Mark, the Anubi leader, was
fighting the war. (he's addicted to Garou blood) Scarred by the fight three
years ago in which she saved Martin Ryerson (a 13-year old Glass Walker
Ragabash) from a Black Spiral attack that wiped out the rest of his pack,
she has since won the respect of both anarchs and elders for her lucid
counsel on the "werewolf problem."

IMAGE: A tall, thin woman wearing non-descript clothes and a voluminous
black overcoat (in both summer and winter), she gives the visual impression
of being a failed pop-singer. This is undercut by the green and black
marbled scar which covers the right side of her face. This is generally
disguised with a half-mask or covered in bandaged cotton (except for the
eye). When at parties or in public, she affects the pose of an ironic
jester, aware of her own insanity and cracking jokes which are generally
based on classical allusions. Privately, this persona falls away
immediately to reveal a woman who is angry and fanatically devoted to her
own standard of justice...

NOTES ON ROLEPLAYING ... a standard which does not allow for her to involve
her "son" in any way with any trouble she might meet. She considers Martin
Ryerson ("Marty") just that, her son by "adoption," and will NEVER ask him
to fight for her UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. If it is too dangerous for her,
it is too dangerous for him, and her care-giver instincts plus her lust for
justice combine to want for him to live. The same goes for her retainers,
if things look too hairy she will send them to safety. 

Mockingbird's appearance is based on the real-life person, Judy Davis, the
Oscar-nominated Aussie actress of such films as A PASSAGE TO INDIA, MY
BRILLIANT CAREER, NAKED LUNCH, THE REF & Woody Allan's HUSBANDS AND WIVES.
Mockingbird's persona is based on the character Davis plays in HIGH TIDE,
an independent backup singer in an Elvis impersonator band who is generally
a rebellious hell-raiser.
