Imagine an imperfect world where two Malkavians disagree. They settle their dispute with a challenge, dare or duel. Everyone is different, everyone says, but also imagine that there is enough common ground for there to be a traditional approach in a city or along a family line within the clan. Assuming that you have two Malkavians with the types of personalities that would issue and accept a duel, how might this work? Pranking, obviously. Rock-paper-scissors or a coin toss. Riddles or storytelling. Ranting, at one another or before other Malkavians. Taking on another clan's traditional specialty as neutral ground - a battle of artistic creation, occult exploration, influence or acts of defiance - so long as neither duelist has a background in the chosen field. Potlatch. Driving someone mad, or seeing them through madness and back to functionality, which demonstrates an even greater understanding of madness. Stalingrad tag. Instead of pistols at dawn, sniper rifles, any time outside of Elysium. The first one 'killed' loses. Insomnambulism. Staying awake isn't easy, and can be used as part of a challenge. Blood drive. Proof of being able to fend for yourself if nothing else, the vampire who has collected the most blood without having a blood hunt called wins. Depending on the Malkavians involved, you may actually be more likely to have a body part collection or scavenger hunt. Chicken. Two Malkavians stare each-other down (using Dementation at its first and second level...). The first to flinch loses. Precognition. Accurately predicting the future would take either the right kind of mojo, being well-informed, or possessing common sense - any of which might be the subject of a duel. Other thoughts? Vis.
