I'm in Inner Turmoil. My Inner Child decided to play in my subconscious rather than studying. So the Inner Teacher in me called a collective consciousness summit with my Id and Ego. Speaking at the meeting were my Critic and my personal God-Consciousness. Id and Ego were hopelessly locked, the Id supporting the Child and Ego supporting the Teacher, so they called in the Superego to arbitrate. Superego decided that the Nurturer in me would be given temporary custody of the impulsive Inner Child. The Nurturer, acting on repressed memories of her Inner Childhood, grounded the Inner Child for a week from Dreams and Fantasies. In rebellion, the Inner Child mounted my Inner Bell Tower and began picking off my Inner Unwitting Pedestrians with a high-powered scope rifle. My Inner Child was arrested, charged, tried, and convicted, sentenced to five years Heavy Introspection. And that's why I'm not creative this week. -- Riahanna McDonough
