ok tack this on to the end of my mirror aint broke rant....

and the cracks may not even be cracks.....

take a close look at the symbol as seen in the modern and dark ages 
paradigms..... look at the mirrors. they are not cracks in reality or the 
mirror as such, but the refelctions of lightening bolts. that's right i 
said lightening bolts. now why lightening bolts one might ask? think of 
the way our clan acts. the occasional flash of insight. the brief 
glimpses of illumination that we offer. what better symbol to describe 
our clan incuding the misnomer that lightening never strikes the same 
place twice. the cracks in the darkness that are our clan. think of the 
damage a lightening bolt can do... think of the random and erratic, nay, 
even chaotic pattern that exists in the striking, much like pranks and 
the movements of our minds... we strike light into the world of darkness. 
it may be only occasional stabs but what awe the unleashed forces of 
nature hold... and we do know that chaos and madness are the natural order 
of things... so go forth and electrify your friends and compatriates... 
know that you are an ocasional lightbringer amongst the creatures of the 
night.
