Date: Fri, 25 Oct 1996 19:55:32 +1000 (EST) From: the fiend Subject: [Malks] everything you know is wrong. i was sitting there reading up on secret societies when i came across a refrence to a group called the something des goules.... who's symbol happens to be a black mirror. the picture of the mirror had something being reflected off it that had no real shape. and that's when it hit me. well i dropped the book while i was lying on my back so of course it hit me... but i tought more about our mirror.... specificly the mirror i had been sent by erehwon for the bit i wrote for the malkavians competition last year.... (if you haven't read it yet then shame on you cause that means you havent read every last thing that is available on erewhons page. and if you want to hold a discussion here or know what we're like then you should read everylast thing and follow every last link.... so go do it...... NOW!) it's a black mirror. with a crack. WRONG! it's a representation of a black mirror reflecting a crack. people look at the mirror and say it's a broken mirror, thinking that that is us. a broken reflection. we know thought that we are not broken souls, even though we are undead cursed souls. we are the reflection of the cracked reality that exists all around them that they never notice... until they look into the mirror from a certain angle. we are the reality that the others don't want to see. mr. addams once said that art is holding a mirror up to the universe, except that there is no mirror big enough to hold up to it. he was, and i may be rubbing a few people the wrong way here but that's why i'm a sadomasochist, wrong(and at the same time right in that beutiful way that everything is). each and every mirror reflects the universe. even broken ones reflect the universe. but when the mirror is heald just right, so you can see over you're shoulder to see them sneeking up behind you..... then you can see the cracks. we just know where to hold the mirror. the fiend justified ancient student of nature. ^ ^ ^ ^ ^
