Yes, but that's another story. (That won't be told in full.) The basic
idea is that it's too obvious to do a direct Moon-Malk/Moon-Calf
connection, so I took it way back before the Malks had strayed too far
from Uncle Malkav. It involves the Umbra, and the moon as a source of
prophecy and Malkav's new modes of seeing. So the Werewolves and the
Malkavians would be far apart, but they would have their source of power
in common. I was developing this more in Werewolf and not in Vamp,
because the Vamp fans would see it coming, and the Werewolf fans were
less likely to (Moon Clan? What's a Moon Clan?)It was going to culminate
in the Children of Gaia hunt for Malkav, and even the Malkavians would
learn a thing or three.
