On Fleshcrafting Wings From: Omnicynic >I was wondering. Now with vissitude can you flesh craft wings? Now I know >this is a short almost 1 liner, but it's a question. If it can be done, >what are the techniqual points stuff behind it. Yes, you can. Being undead, we don't require oxygen to move our muscles, so it's a lot more practical for us than any other supernatural. The specs: 2 blood points for the flesh and bonecrafting. Body Alteration (or Medicine) + Strength roll, requires at least three successes to be functional. Otherwise, they're only good for scaring the neighbors. If you happen to be in Horrid Form at the time, it only costs one blood point. Don't ask me why. Since you don't change mass, the extra bone and flesh comes from your body, giving you hollow bones and thinner muscles. It's not wise to get hurt when you have your wings out. Some vampires I've known take wings as a 6th level discipline -- those are better, and allow true flight. These ones, an application of Bonecraft, are only really good for gliding. I use Movement of the Mind (a Thaumaturgical path) to achieve flight, and the wings for gliding and fine control. They're also good for more speed than telekinesis provides.
